Faction Licenses

Faction Licenses are effectively similar to breeding but we have designed our own unique system using those fundamental ideas.

How does this system work?

Agents and minions are the unlimited collections of the game. Their Creation is controlled by what we call “Faction Licenses.”

  • To create an , you will need a or license. - A license from a Sidekick creates an Uncommon Agent. - A license from a Guardian creates a Rare Agent. - A license from a Guardian + Sidekick combined creates an Epic Agent. (Most rare)

  • To create a , you will need a or license. - A license from a Villain creates an Uncommon Minion. - A license from a Henchmen creates a Rare Minion. - A license from a Villain + Henchmen combined creates an Epic Agent. (Most Rare)

Licensing Costs

  • To create an Agent or Minion you will need to spend and .

  • Players can select the Guardian, Villain, Sidekick or Henchmen they want to get a license from, no matter who owns that NFT.

  • Whenever an Agent or Minion is created by getting a license from previous collections, $GARD and $POWR are spent. A portion of the cost goes to the MetaGuardians treasury and the rest goes to the owner of the NFT that was selected.

  • License costs stack, so if players request a license from the same NFT; the next license will cost more than the previous one. This produces more income to the NFT owner and increases their rank on the popularity leaderboard. Owners will compete to become the most famous Guardian, Sidekick, Villain, or Henchmen through this system.

  • The License system also aims to provide a sustainable and engaging ecosystem. The mint price of the unlimited collections will slowly rise, which will increase demand for the currency, and therefore demand for the limited collections.

Will the NFTs chosen affect physical traits?

They may some form, but the system has not been designed yet.
